WeAD Home Cloud is the platform — Layer 3 orchestration and verification for a hybrid edge network. Data centers fund solar panels, Power Box, Data Box, and AI Box at host homes and apartments. Data centers pay homeowners passive hosting income. WeAD routes workloads and monitors the fleet. Hosts provide the shell only — never the hardware.

Control Plane Services

Power Box — solar and battery telemetry module

Power Telemetry

Real-time solar generation, battery state-of-charge, and grid draw per node. Data House Mode defers heavy compute to surplus or off-peak windows.

METRIC: solar_kw · battery_pct · grid_draw_w

Data Box — 50 TB edge storage appliance

Storage Fabric

Fleet-wide capacity tracking across ~50 TB edge nodes. Route archive, cache, and Web3 slice workloads to nodes with available terabytes.

METRIC: storage_used_tb / storage_cap_tb

AI Box — edge inference compute module

AI Inference Grid

Monitor inference utilization and model identity. Auto-assign workloads to highest-scoring nodes meeting bandwidth class requirements.

METRIC: ai_util_pct · node_score

Solar-First Power

Rooftop solar array feeding Data House edge node

Every Data House runs on solar-backed power funded by the data center — panels on the roof, around the house, or at apartment sites. The Power Box manages generation, battery, and grid draw.

Home Cloud tracks solar_kw on every heartbeat. Nodes with higher solar input score better for workload placement. Heavy inference and storage jobs queue until the fleet reports solar_surplus or off_peak mode.

Stakeholders

WeAD Platform

Layer 3 control plane — orchestration, node scoring, workload routing, verification, and the NOC console. WeAD is the platform; we do not fund hardware or pay hosts directly.

Data Center Operators

AI and cloud companies that fund everything at the site — solar panels (roof, ground, or apartment install), Power Box, Data Box, and AI Box. They remotely operate nodes through the platform and pay homeowners passive hosting income (Abstract 38 Layer 4).

Site Hosts

Homeowners and apartment residents who provide roof/ground space and indoor footprint. Pay nothing — data center funds solar too. No hardware access. Earn passive income from data centers via the site host program.

Workload Tenants

Third-party customers submitting storage, inference, cache, or gaming jobs through the REST API. Data centers fund edge capacity at host sites; WeAD routes each job to the best-scoring node.

Core Data Centers

Layer 1 hyperscale facilities. Training stays centralized. Hybrid model offloads edge-suitable work (inference, storage, cache, web3, gaming) to home nodes — reducing mega-build expansion per Abstract 38.

What Data Centers Do

Fund the full install

  • Solar panels — rooftop, ground-mount, or around the house / apartment block
  • Power Box — solar input, battery, grid management
  • Data Box — ~50 TB edge storage
  • AI Box — edge inference compute

Host pays $0 · data center owns and funds all equipment

Operate & pay via platform

  • Remotely operate nodes through Home Cloud
  • Dispatch storage, inference, cache, and gaming workloads
  • Schedule compute around solar_surplus and off-peak power
  • Pay homeowners passive hosting income

Edge Hardware Stack

Data-center-funded, locked install at each host site — solar array plus Abstract 38 Data House modules:

Solar array module
Module 00

Solar Array

Rooftop, ground-mount, or apartment surround — funded and owned by the data center. Primary power source for the node.

Power Box module
Module 01

Power Box

Solar input, battery management, grid tie-in. Connected to data-center-funded panels. Feeds real-time energy telemetry to the control plane.

Data Box module
Module 02

Data Box

~50 TB edge storage array. Serves tenant cache, backup, archive, and distributed Web3 slices — all remotely managed.

AI Box module
Module 03

AI Box

Ryzen AI Halo class inference. Runs local models when solar surplus or off-peak power allows.
